Fall Decor Home Tour – My Secret to Adding All the Fall Feels to Your Home!

Hello sweet friends! Welcome to our Fall Blog Hop!! If you’re coming from Crystal and Cleats, welcome!! So, it’s finally FALL! The best season of all, if you ask me! It means pumpkins, sweaters, boots, scarves, crisp sunny days! Okay, well maybe that’s what it meant back when I lived in Georgia – now its more so an extended summer, but with pumpkins.  Sometimes, I’ll turn on the AC and light me up the fireplace and just pretend for a few minutes 😛 But, even if its still hot as all get out here in SoCal, that doesn’t mean the Fall decor falls by the wayside.  In fact, it’s the…

Upgrading Builder Grade into Modern & Functional with Legrand – an Outlet/Switch Swap!

Hello friends! I recently had the opportunity to collaborate with Legrand*** on something that may seem a bit benign, but is actually something SO many of us want or need to do – upgrading our outlets and light switches!  Their new Radiant collection is FAB-U-LOUS – why you ask?  Because the faceplates have NO screws, so the switches and outlets blend seamlessly in with the walls and look extra elegant and high-end!  Legrand also offers various color options, so they go with all types of decor.  We chose white to match the color of our molding, and so they would blend in. Hubby and I decided we were going to…

What You’ll Need: Faux Olive Bush (I used THIS one from Hobby Lobby) Bucket of your Choice (I used the larger one of THIS set, also from Hobby Lobby) Branch (I prefer larger ones – snagged mine from a lake near our house, but you can use any size you prefer and adjust for wherever you plan to put the finished tree) Hand-held drill, with…

    Backyard Oasis Transformation

Hello sweet friends.  I keep thinking things will calm down over here, but alas, we seem to always be go-go-going.  Luckily, our backyard oasis is complete (except one small project – more on that later), so we have the perfect place to unwind after a busy day! If you caught my DIY Outdoor Bar post, that was just one small part of the transformation! Here, I’ll show you the projects we tackled to take a space that used to house a giant, aluminum shed we never used, to a relaxing space we never want to leave! THE list (aka, everything we did to change the space): Disassemble and discard (aka…

    DIY Outdoor Bar

Summer is in full swing here in Southern California! We knew heading into Summer this year that we wanted to make the most of our outdoor space, and that all started with a hot tub.  Then of course, me being me, I had to DECORATE the hot tub area. 😛 (I mean, duh. Right?!) So, add on a pergola, rugs, pillows, plants, and the best part – an outdoor bar area with bar stool seating. Not only can we now eat a nice dinner out here (because yes, every pergola also needs a vintage chandelier hanging from the middle), but the bar is the same height as the hot tub…
